SCHEDULED POWER OUTAGE- NOVEMBER 30, 2026 8:30AM-3:30PM
Please be advised that San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) will be replacing the two Bay Scene electric transformers on Monday, November 30, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. During this time, the community will experience a temporary power outage. The transformers are being replaced with more powerful models to accommodate the 36 new electric vehicle charging stations.
Please note the following:
• Elevators: All elevators will be shut down beginning at 7:30 AM and will remain out of service until power has been restored and the elevators are cleared for operation.
• Vehicle Gates: The vehicle entry and exit gates will remain open during the outage to allow residents access to the community. The north entry drive is expected to be closed for use by SDG&E equipment to replace the transformer.
• Interior Hallways and Stairwells: Common area interior lighting will be limited to emergency lighting only for as long as the batteries last.
For your safety, residents who rely on electrical medical equipment or who may have difficulty using the stairways while the elevators are out of service are strongly encouraged to make other accommodations in advance.
We encourage all residents to plan accordingly and make any necessary arrangements ahead of time to minimize inconvenience. If you have a contractor scheduled to work on November 30, please reschedule to a day when the power is restored.
Please be aware that the scheduled outage and restoration times are subject to change depending on SDG&E's work and any unforeseen circumstances.
